love game

just went for a slow run from my house to AMK MRT station and back, and i ended up quite shagged.definitely not a very good sign;it just shows how unfit i am now.sigh.my fitness takes quite a while to build up,but drops very easily if not maintained, and that's what has happened since the turn of the year.SOC seems like such a difficult hurdle to clear now.

booking in tonight, after having been out since last Thursday.it's been quite a good break, slacking at home and sleeping/waking up at insane hours.although the staying at home part also has to do with not having enough money to go out haha.

well,it's back to work now, hopefully i'll be out again on Friday later this week.

waiting,in vain.

went to play soccer at the indoor artificial turf facility at East Coast Park yesterday, from 7-11 p.m,on an invitation from Shadikin.i got off at the wrong bus stop on the way there, and ended up walking in the pouring rain for about 15 minutes to the place, which is essentially built based on the same concept as the Cage@Kallang.

turned out that the pitch we were playing on was booked by one of Jason Yeo's friends, and he had invited a few of the Signal guys and Shadikin to play together.Shadikin's dad came along too,and i liked the soft-spoken man very much.and he still could mix it with us young people on the pitch as well.

although i didn't know most of the other people playing, they seemed pretty okay in general.and some of them were really quite skillful.anyway,i debuted my new boots on the pitch and scored two well-taken goals,so i was quite pleased with my performance.and its amazing how running up and down on a 5-a-side pitch can leave you breathless in ten minutes flat.

speaking of breathless, that must have been how all those who watched Federer versus Roddick last night were feeling at the end of the marathon Wimbledon singles final, the longest in history.the match took slightly over four(?!) hours on Centre Court, and ended with the Swiss winning 16-14(!!) in the final fifth set to clinch his 15th Grand Slam title, eclipsing Pete Sampras' record haul of 14,thus ensuring he will go down as one of the best players ever when he career ends.i salute the Fed Express for his monumental achievement, and surely he can still go on to win more.

you're perfect for me,why,
aren't you here tonight
